The simple fact is, on most points of sail, a well designed catamaran is faster than a comparably sized monohull. And there is very little heel! A large cockpit with wheel steering and plenty of room for an afternoon picnic. Generous, hard foredeck is surrounded by a stainless pulpit for the entire bow and lifelines running along the somewhat narrow side decks. Serenity is US Coast Guard Documented with Coastwise Endorsement and has her current US Coast Guard Aux UPV Inspection Sticker. She carries all required City and County licensing and Dock 55 authorization and is commerically insured. Her safety equipment, including Type 1 Life Jackets / PFDs, Fire Extinguishers, Distress Signals, etc meet US Coast Guard commercial requirements. Her captain and crew will vary, but our captains are fully licensed and captain and crew meet current drug and alcohol testing requirements.
